What is a prototype?
A prototype looks and feels like the real thing. However, under the hood it’s a single-user browser-based application — not built for production use.
A full system has a proper database, API, security, multi-user support and scalable architecture. The prototype has none of this — it exists purely to demonstrate how the finished system will work, look and feel.
The benefit is that it’s a real, tangible representation of the finished product that enables non-technical users to engage meaningfully with the design — far beyond what any document or wireframe can achieve.

Requirements Gathering
We spend time with you to understand the key screens, workflows and data that your prototype needs to demonstrate.
This doesn’t have to be exhaustive — just enough to produce a first version that brings your idea to life.
Initial Prototype
Using AI we generate HTML, CSS and JavaScript to create a prototype that runs in your browser and looks like the proposed solution.
This gives us a solid, tangible basis for further discussions and helps stakeholders visualise what we’re all talking about.
Prototype Review
We work through the initial prototype with each stakeholder to flush out misunderstandings and build more detail.
Having something tangible to look at really helps users engage with the process and stimulates more constructive feedback.
Full Prototype
We generate a prototype that is an accurate facsimile of the finished product. When users see it, they will probably believe it’s a full blown system.
If you decide to proceed to a full build, this prototype becomes the contractual specification for the development.
Refinement
Now is the perfect time to specify features exactly as they should be. It’s so quick and easy to change things at this stage that we encourage maximum stakeholder engagement.
We iterate over the prototype stages until everybody is satisfied. Because the cost is so low you can encourage people to be creative without fear of blowing your budget.
Final Review
After you have had some time with the prototype we review it with you and discuss any feedback and future potential developments.
